The main trouble with ‘get rich quick’ is that it does not exist. Those crazy statements like ‘He turned 5 cents into $173,165 inside one month’ are aimed at lazy people and designed to get the SELLER rich rather than the buyer.
Here’s my best advice. Stop trying to take the easy way and the short cuts. Stop trying to automate things that were never supposed to be automated. Stop auto-posting spun junk on article directories and social network sites. Stop breaking the rules. Stop being so lazy.
It’s true that anyone can make a fortune online. Unfortunately, there are far too many people out there trying to make a fortune by giving you flawed information that is supposed to tell you how to make a fortune.
Seriously folks, if you could make $150,000 or even $10,000 easily in a month what would you do? Would you keep making that money and building your business or would you create some cheap e-book about it? Have you ever wondered why all those affiliates are selling ‘get rich quick’ programs instead of using them to get rich quick? If you guessed that it’s because most of those programs don’t work then you are correct.
It’s an unfortunate thing that a promise of extraordinary riches for an extraordinarily small amount of effort presses our greed button. Even if you’ve been burned 40 or 50 times you will probably purchase… just in case this one really works!
So what’s the answer?
The fact is that there isn’t a single answer to the ‘how do I get rich online’ question. One thing is for sure though – you need to be able to create a website that is rich with original, valuable content and you need to be able to stay focused on it for long enough that it gathers a fan base and your visitors can see that you do indeed know what you are talking about. You don’t have to be an expert, but it is advisable to know more about your topic than the ‘average joe’.
If you were expecting to see a pitch for some online course that will show you everything you need to know about getting rich online then I’m sorry to say that I’ll have to disappoint you. This post isn’t about pitching the impossible dream – it’s about reality, and the sooner you get into reality mode, the sooner you will be ready to allow yourself to build something truly useful and profitable online.
I don’t dispute that it’s possible to have literally hundreds of sites and blogs that make money online, but the crucial step that most people seem to miss is the process of creating one blog or site that makes money and then replicating that process. Instead, most people simply put up new sites every week without any sort of income building plan and the first ten fail, then the next ten fail and so on and so on.
If you are serious about earning your income online then take the time to create just one income generating site first – and then once you know the process that you went through to create that site and generate income from it – then you should start making more sites or, if you aren’t into building niche sites, simply continue building that first site into something really special.
